I suppose it's a little dangerous to say but I ripped off these chords from A Day In The Life. I was about to go on tour and I just found out my apartment had bedbugs. I was staying at a friend's place, about to leave town and I furiously, frantically checked all my clothes for any hint of a bedbug or a bedbug egg. Deep down I knew the right thing to do was to call off the tour. I didn't want to be a vector of disease. But also I was young and dumb and so so hungry. So I decided to throw caution to the wind, do my very very best not to spread bedbugs all over the country and just go ahead with the darn thing. The die was cast but I was not at peace.
I started thinking about Woody Allen. About Woody Allen's friends. How would it feel to find out someone you loved was actually a monster? When the person you love disappears because they never actually existed. Where does that person go? The person you thought existed that you gave your love to.
Yes, I got your post today
I wish that i could say I’m doing well
And are you happy with Cheree
If you will
Does she take care of you like you want?
Where did we go wrong?
I never figured you for such a sad song
Friendship fades away
In dreams of yesterday, where I belong
